The journey of loss can be lonely and isolating, sometimes having someone to share how it is can help greatly. This forum presents a unique opportunity to communicate with others.
You might just have been told news that will change your life forever. The open Forum gives you a place to express your feelings around expected loss, bereavement and the journey you are on. You may also use the Private Messaging facility for a more private response.
In order to use the forum it is necessary to register as a User and provide a User name which will be unique to you.
Forum Rules
A Little Lifetime Foundation reserves the right to deny access to any individual or remove content contravening these terms and conditions.
Treat others with the same respect you expect from them. Messages should be polite and friendly. Others are free to express their opinions and beliefs and any difference of opinion should not be taken personally.
Reference to Hospitals, Doctors, Nurses or Others by name is not permitted on the open forum.
Photographs are not allowed unless permission sought from A Little Lifetime Foundation and requests are welcome.
Photographs of infants are allowed in personal threads named/dedicated to an infant but not in signature images where they will appear in general reply posts.
This is to allow for others who may find photographs distressing or may not have any of their own.
Signature images (not photographs of infants) are allowed.
Please do not give links to sites without seeking permission.
Users must not post messages threaten, abuse, harass, degrade, or intimidate an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability. This also includes the posting of jokes or links.
Please do not post with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles and signatures. These messages will be removed by moderators without warning.
Do not post anything you know to be false, defamatory, obscene, racist, offensive, hurtful or invasive of a persons privacy. While debating and discussion is fine, rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts will not be tolerated.
Please do not give links to sites which may be illegal, of a pornographic nature or otherwise objectionable.
We would respectfully ask if you are posting messages you would not give any of your personal details or another persons details.
Do not post email addresses in the forum. Internet pages are constantly scanned and email addresses then become targets for spam.
All personal information (telephone no etc) should be communicated by Private Message but caution should be taken when doing so, A Little Lifetime Foundation do not accept responsibility for any information shared though Private Messaging.
For your personal sites/blogs, if you fill out the website in your profile, other users can visit it by clicking on the 'www' button on the bottom of your signature.
Having more than one username is permitted in certain cases, for example for posting on sensitive issues. Having more than one username is not permitted if it is misused and abusive of other users. Do not use a second username to agree with yourself for example or use multiple usernames in order to cause distress. These users will be removed permanently.
Private messages are PRIVATE - do not publish private messages on the forum.
Each individual is responsible for what they write.
No content from alittlelifetime.ie can be copied, printed or distributed by any mechanism at any time without the express permission of the administrator. Anything posted to these forums becomes the property of the forum owners.
Rules on Advertising/HTML tags
No advertising for commercial websites or businesses is allowed.
Replying to threads to promote your own business is not permitted- these posts will be deleted.
Advertising links/text/images etc in Signatures/usernames etc is not permitted and will be removed.
Do not include any HTML tags in the subject or HTML tags in the message which will alter the presentation of the posting.
A Little Lifetime Foundation may not be used to send chain letters, junk mail, 'spam', solicitations (commercial or non-commercial) or bulk communications of any kind unless the recipient has given specific permission to be included in such a list.
You are not permitted to promote external websites unless it is with the express permission of A Little Lifetime Foundation at info@alittlelifetime.ie.

Failure to comply with any of the above rules and repeated re-offence despite warnings will lead to deactivation and banning from the site.
The forum Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to edit, censor, delete or otherwise modify any posted message. SPAM is not tolerated and is deleted immediately upon notification to our team.
